Inspections

The Tsuut’ina Nation Inspections department ensures that all buildings and developments within the Nation meet safety, structural, and environmental standards. Through thorough assessments and compliance checks, we support the growth of a safe and sustainable community.

Building Inspection Process

To request a Building Inspection your project must have an authorized and active Building Permit.

We have 2 different inspection agencies we use within the Taza Development Lands, and it will depend on your zone for us to determine which one will be handling your file.

When you have reached the final stages of your building project, please call your inspection agency (determined by zone) for your final inspections.

Once you have completed your final inspections then the Inspection firm will grant you an Occupancy Certificate.

Health Inspection Services

If your project requires a Health Services Inspection (food, personal services etc.,) then you can contact Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) to arrange the health inspection.
